Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you'll be welcomed with breathtaking views of the valley, the Himalayas, and the terraced fields below. After clearing customs, our representative will be waiting to guide you through the charming, narrow streets of Kathmandu to your hotel, easing you into the city's cultural delights. Once you've settled in, venture out to explore the city. Begin your journey at Kathmandu Durbar Square, where you'll wander through narrow alleyways bustling with small shops, ancient temples, and local eateries. For a refreshing walk, head to Swayambhunath, the iconic white stupa, and witness a mesmerizing sunset over the valley. In the evening, Thamel, the vibrant tourist hub, offers a plethora of dining options, from traditional Nepali dishes to international cuisines. Overnight: Kathmandu

Day 2: Explore Kathmandu

Embrace the special atmosphere of Kathmandu during the early morning hours as the city slowly comes to life. Take a leisurely walk, savoring the sights or indulge in a cup of chai while overlooking one of the local courtyards or durbar squares. After breakfast, the day is yours to explore the famous sights of the Kathmandu Valley. You have the option to explore at your own pace or, if you prefer, we can provide a knowledgeable English-speaking guide and a private jeep for a more guided experience. Day 3: Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara, Trek to Tadapani (2,650 m)

After breakfast in Kathmandu, you'll be transferred to the domestic airport for a scenic flight to Pokhara, the second-largest city in Nepal. During this awe-inspiring 30-minute flight, witness the grandeur of the Himalayan range, including the majestic peaks of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, Manaslu, and Shishapangma. Upon arrival in Pokhara, we'll drive you to Kimche, a journey that takes approximately 2.5 hours from Pokhara. From Kimche, your trekking adventure commences with a walk to Ghandruk. Enjoy lunch in Ghandruk while basking in the captivating views of Machapuchhre and Hiunchuli. After lunch, the trail takes you through a beautiful rhododendron forest, gradually ascending to Bhaisi Kharka, offering stunning vistas of Annapurna. Day 4: Trek from Tadapani to Dobato (11,220 feet / 3,420 m), Sunset from Muldai Peak

Following breakfast in Tadapani, venture off the main trail to explore the remote beauty of the Annapurna region. Traverse through charming Nepali villages, immersed in a picturesque landscape of diverse flora, fauna, and ancient trees, reminiscent of a scene from a fantasy book. The trail leads you to Muldai Peak, where you'll experience an awe-inspiring panorama at sunset. The day's journey continues through open ground and a beautiful forest until you reach the lodges at Dobato, offering truly incredible views of Annapurna South. Day 5: Trek from Dobato to Upper Chistibung (9,875 feet / 3,010 m)

Embark on an early breakfast in Dobato, followed by a climb to Muldai Peak, where you'll witness the majestic sunrise panorama. The trail then leads you through open meadows and a captivating forest, ultimately reaching the pastures of Lower Chistibung. Gradually ascend through yet another charming forest until you arrive at Upper Chistibung, a temporary herder's settlement. Keep an eye out for the colorful Lophophorus (Danphe), Nepal's national bird, and the Himalayan Thar grazing on the grassy ridge high above the trail. As you enter the ridge, admire the distant Annapurna South massif. Upon arriving at Khopra, take an easy walk to a viewpoint that overlooks the Kali Gandaki River far below in the deep valley. Hindus consider Kaire Lake to be sacred, believing that bathing in its waters helps attain Nirvana. Immerse yourself in the spiritual ambiance and explore the Hindu and Buddhist shrines scattered around the lakeside. Kaire Lake altitude: 15,272 ft / 4,665 m Kaire Lake trekking time: 7-8 hours Kaire Lake trekking distance: 10.2 miles (16.5 km) round-trip For those seeking a more relaxed experience, a half-day walk from Khopra can be arranged. Day 8: Trek from Khopra Danda to Tatopani, Dip in the Hot Spring

Descend steeply from Khopra Danda into the valley toward Paudwar. After lunch in Paudwar, continue the hike down to Tatopani, renowned for its natural hot springs. Spend the night at a teahouse in Tatopani, where you can indulge in a relaxing dip in the hot spring and interact with the locals. Overnight: Tatopani Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 9: Drive from Tatopani to Pokhara, Fly to Kathmandu

In the morning, a jeep will pick you up and drive you back to Pokhara. After a quick lunch at Lakeside, head to the Pokhara airport for your short flight back to Kathmandu, where you will be transferred to your hotel. Your last evening in Kathmandu is free for you to explore and enjoy the city's vibrant atmosphere. Reflect on your incredible trekking adventure and perhaps visit some local markets or enjoy a delicious farewell dinner at one of the city's many delightful restaurants.
